Adding Lark to WordPress takes one script tag. You can add it through your theme or a lightweight plugin — no coding required.

Before you start

  • Your Lark agent is live and your organisation domain is saved in Organisation settings.
  • You have admin access to your WordPress site.

Get your embed script

In your Lark dashboard open Add to site and copy the floating button script.

Add the script using a plugin

The easiest method is to use a free plugin such as Insert Headers and Footers (WPCode). Install and activate it, go to Code Snippets → Header & Footer, paste your Lark script into the Footer section, and save. The agent will appear on every page of your site.

Add the script through your theme

If you prefer not to use a plugin, go to Appearance → Theme File Editor, open your theme’s footer.php file, paste the Lark script just before the closing </body> tag, and save.

Inline embed

To show the agent inside a specific page, use the inline embed code from Add to site and paste it into a Custom HTML block on that page in the WordPress editor.
Your website’s domain must match the domain saved in Organisation Settings in Lark before the agent will load. Go to Organisation Settings, check the domain field, and make sure it matches your live site. The agent will not appear on localhost or staging URLs unless those domains are added separately.
