# Privacy Policy

> How Lark collects, uses, and protects your data.

*Last updated: 9 October 2026*

This Privacy Policy explains how Sundeck Studio FZE LLC ("Lark", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Lark ("the Service"). By using Lark, you agree to this policy.

## Who we are

Lark is operated by Sundeck Studio FZE LLC, a UAE Free Zone entity incorporated in Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone. Our contact email is [info@heylark.io](mailto:info@heylark.io).

## Information we collect

### Account information

When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and payment information necessary to provide the Service.

### Visitor and conversation information

When a visitor talks to an agent on a customer's website, we process the messages they send and the answers the agent gives. If a visitor gives their name or email address, or asks for an estimate, we keep those details so the customer can follow up. A lead is only created from an email address the visitor has confirmed in the conversation, and a visitor's agreement to join a mailing list is recorded separately.

For this information the customer is in control of the purpose and Lark acts on the customer's behalf. See our [Data Processing Agreement](/legal/dpa).

### Usage information

To show customers how their agent is used, we record when conversations start and the web page address where the agent was opened. We also record the visitor's country, which our hosting provider works out from their network address. We use country only for aggregate analytics, such as showing a customer their top countries.

### Emails we send you

We send you emails about your account, such as security and billing notices. We also send optional notifications, such as usage warnings and a weekly summary. You can turn the optional ones off under **Account**, then **Notifications**. Security notices cannot be turned off.

## Service providers

We use the following service providers to run Lark: Anthropic (AI models), Voyage (embeddings), Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Composio (integrations) and Upstash.

Data we pass to a service provider is governed by that provider's own agreements, and our responsibility for it ends at transmission under standard contractual clauses.

## Tools you connect

When you connect a tool such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Brevo or Mailchimp, the data sent to it is your data. Lark acts only as a conduit and does not control how that tool handles it.
