# Setting up your account

> Set your name, organisation details and security options.

## Account settings

Open **Account** from the menu at the bottom of the sidebar. Your first and last name are both required. Your initials appear on your avatar in the sidebar.

## Organisation settings

Each organisation has its own name, domain, logo and preferred currency.

* **Organisation domain:** the one domain your agent may load on. Enter it like `example.com`. Subdomains are covered automatically.
* **Preferred currency:** used when Lark builds estimates or communicates with your customers.

## Notifications

Open **Account** from the menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose the **Notifications** tab. Each notification has a checkbox. Tick it to receive that email and untick it to stop. Changes save as soon as you click.

Lark emails you about a few things that need your attention:

* **Security:** your password or email address was changed. These emails are always sent and cannot be turned off.
* **Billing:** a payment failed, your plan was cancelled, or your grace period is about to end (we email you 24 hours before it does).
* **Usage:** you have used 80% of your conversations for the month, or you have reached the limit.
* **Problems:** an integration keeps failing to sync, or a knowledge source could not be processed.
* **Weekly summary:** a short recap every Monday. We skip it for a week with no activity.

If you are on the free trial, we also email you 3 days before it ends. We do not email you about every new lead. Leads appear in your dashboard and in your connected tool.
