# Capturing leads

> How Lark captures visitor contact details and where they go.

## No lead form required

Lark does not use a pop-up form. Your agent offers to take contact details during the conversation, after it has been helpful and never unprompted, for example when it sends an estimate or follows up.

When a visitor shares their email, the agent confirms it in the chat ("Just to check, is it ...?") and asks for a name, which the visitor can skip. If a mailing list is connected, the agent then asks a separate, plain question about whether the visitor would like to receive emails. Visitors are only added to a mailing list if they say yes.

## Where leads go

Every lead appears on your **Dashboard**. Each lead has a status (New, Contacted, Won, Lost or Quarantined), private notes, the estimate and its price breakdown, and you can export your leads to CSV. Your dashboard also shows leads, estimated pipeline, interaction rate and completion rate for the period you choose.

Quarantined leads are saved and visible, but never sent to a connected tool or emailed. Lark quarantines throwaway email addresses and repeat submissions.

## Syncing to your tools

Leads can be sent automatically to a connected tool. Each lead shows whether it was sent, is still sending or failed, and you can retry a failed one by hand. If no tool is connected, the lead simply stays in your dashboard. See the [Integrations](/integrations/overview) section for setup guides.

## When your allowance runs out

When you reach your monthly conversation allowance, the agent stops answering with AI and says "Leave your email and we'll reply." It still accepts an email from the visitor.
