# Estimate builder

> Let your agent give visitors an instant, accurate estimate.

The Estimate builder is an addon that lets your agent walk a visitor through a few questions and give a priced estimate. It is included in every plan.

## Turn it on

Open **Estimate builder** under Connect and turn it on. It starts blank, so nothing is offered until you set it up.

## Set it up

* **Questions:** what the agent asks the visitor.
* **Pricing table:** your pricing rules. Prices are calculated on the server from these rules, never by the AI.
* **Send via email:** how the estimate is sent to the visitor.

## Pricing rules

Pricing rules live inside the Pricing table tab of the Estimate builder. Prices are always calculated on the server from your rules, never by the AI.

Open **Estimate builder** under Connect and use the **Pricing table** tab to set them.

## For visitors

When the Estimate builder is on, a "Get an estimate" chip appears first in your agent. You can edit its label or hide it in [Personalize](/your-agent/persona-and-tone).

Each estimate becomes a lead on your dashboard with its price breakdown.
